I was born in La Plata (Bs. As. Province-Argentina) in 1965. I finished Medical School at the National University of La Plata in 1990. I never worked as a doctor, I am a health worker.
My dancing and teaching career began with Israeli folk dancing: since 1981 I have taught to groups of children, teens, adults and seniors, including the creation of choreographies for performances and show producing. The audiences never fed me, so I decided to quit and dance with the people as a dance teacher.
I love travelling and I’ve been to several countries in America, Europe, Far East, Israel, Egypt and Turkey.
In search of an alternative path for medicine and the spirit of traditional dance, I found Sacred Circle Dance in 1992 through Charles Petersen. Since then I started a period of approach to the dances of the world and the group circle´s work with Felisa Chalcoff and Orlando Zaslavsky. Knowing Friedel Kloke-Eibl made a big difference in my work with the circles and myself, it brought me a whole different experience, vision and attunement of what Sacred dance is and means.
I learnt much of my repertoire with Jorge and France Milchberg, Peter Vallance, Laura Shannon, Gwyn Peterdi and so many teachers. Wherever I go to teach, I also learn. I love this bringing dances and styles from a side to the other.
By the end of 1994 I moved to the North of Argentina (Jujuy), where I learned Argentinean folkdances with Pila Revollo; and Andean dances, which are incorporated to Tinku's repertoire through Mariela Cazón. I coordinate weekly Circle Dance sessions in Salta and Jujuy since 1995. I hold a weekly Israeli dance circle in Salta and give workshops in several cities of Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, Mexico, USA and Europe.
I organized the first Tinku (from quechuan language: "gathering, celebration") in Tilcara, Jujuy in 1996: a weekend of dancing, sharing and living together, experimenting as a group and a family. They've been held since then every July and December in the NW Argentina.
In 1999 an annual event was started in Palenque, Mexico and in 2004 we organized the first Tinku at the Sacred Valley of the Incas in Cusco, Peru. These events have a different taste, they are more spiritual, challenging and transforming, and they are almost a week long in very powerful Sacred Sites.
In 2002 we started the Sacred Circle Dance Summer Festival at Carlos Paz, Cordoba, Argentina, which has become international with the participation of dancers and teachers from Uruguay, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, USA and UK. This has been a very wide co-creation with the participation of many people from distant places. It happens every 2nd week of February.
I joined the "New England Circle Dance camp" in 2002 and 2003 as a guest teacher and choreographer, and I taught with Friedel at the Summer Course in Rothenburg 2003 and at the Easter Sacred Dance Festival 2004 in Germany.
